The Willingham Promise
My name is Ashley Willingham, and I write clean fantasy romance and gender-flipped fairytale retellings for adults. My books will always be free from swearing, spice (that’s on-page sex, y’all), and graphic violence. And that’s The Willingham Promise.
I do like to explore heavy themes, though, so be warned that while my books are clean, they’re not necessarily sweet.
But they do all have a HEA.

Ashley Willingham is an author of clean fantasy romance, a mother to two special needs children, a wife to an awesome husband, and a Christian who believes very strongly in following the commandment to, “Love thy neighbor.” Growing up, her favorite books were The Hobbit and Ella Enchanted. Now, she writes her own magic.

What Age range are your books for?
I write for adults, so while my books are free from sexual content, swearing, and graphic violence, they still deal with heavier themes such as death, suicide, war, the nature of evil, and substance abuse while trying to manage chronic pain. I would say my books are 16+, though please view the content warnings on my books and decide what’s best for you and your family!
When do you sleep?
Never, baby. I never sleep.
